What to do? What to do?

Filed under: Uncategorized — Kevmar @ 6:39 am

I am not sure what to do with this space.  As you can tell my WoW time is very minimal.  All of my game time now is spent in the Starcraft beta.  I could rebrand this blog for my thoughts on Starcraft, but my current visitors are here for my comments on Warcraft.  I do expect a return to WoW at a later date and with that a return to blogging about it.  Having this blog where I just talk about either game would not be that bad.  Kevmar is my tag in both games.  I would consider changing the URL, but I just did that not that long ago.  Part of the reason I put warcraft in the url for this blog was to help with search results.

I guess it is too soon to decide that I am going to blog a lot about starcraft II.  I’m not all that good at it yet.  In the short term if I have something I want to say about it, I will just post it here.  If I end up talking a lot about Starcraft II, I will think of something then.

  1. No since in changing it imo. WHile you may not be posting about warcraft some of your readers dont care. I just enjoy reading what your up to.

  2. The easiest way to burn out on a blog is to write about things you don’t want to write about. However, completely re-branding a blog every time the wind changes direction can’t be a good thing.

If you truly are named ‘Kevmar’ on WoW, then the name of the blog is still relevant, isn’t it?

Plus, reading something like ‘Kevmar on Gaming’ doesn’t give me the fantastic mental image of an undead mage riding a tauren druid. Giddy-up!

  3. Make the blog about you, not a specific game. Talk about whichever game you are currently in and any relevant articles about that and you’ll find that you’ll attract a certain audience who connect with your voice.

As long as they are all video game related I think you’ll be fine… and if you don’t flip flop too much between games. A lot of us WoW players are going to try out SC2 eventually so it is still relevant (I’m in SC2 beta at the moment)

  5. I’m curious if you have any idea what we can expect for the future of my most beloved Addon KTQ?

  6. Guess what? I just got a beta-key and am playing Starcraft II as well. So in my selfish opinion, please blog about it. I’m interested to read the opinions of others (who are not professional players) about this game.

I’m currently in the Silver league after about 80 games played. How far have you got?

  7. I have been playing a lot of 2v2 with friends. I’m still hanging out in Copper1v1 or Bronze2v2. I did get my macro game more under control and started a good winning streak so I should start working my way out of those brackets.
